SZ4D Initiative timeline of the multiple components of SZ4D. Timelines from the top are: (1) Preparatory work supported by the Catalyst grant (this project). (2) Targeted projects to support specific scientific activities connected to SZ4D. (3) Collaborative science envisioned as an SZ4D Center. (4) Long-term instrumentation using MultiArray. (5) International collaboration via SZNet. Dots are major milestones. The Catalyst, SZNet and GeoArray & StraboSpot pilot projects are currently funded.
