Research Interests
My group uses seismic imaging and ocean-bottom seismology to study subduction zone structure, megathrust earthquake processes, and volcanic systems in the Pacific. We work with both land and seafloor seismic networks, and have active interests in emerging marine geophysical infrastructure. An intern could contribute to projects involving seismic data processing, characterization of the subduction megathrust or arc volcano magma storage, or marine instrumentation and data quality. I currently have multiple active projects in the Alaska-Aleutian subduction zone, and would be particularly eager to connect with those interested in comparative studies across different subduction zones.
