NSF MSRI-2: Progress & Path Forward

SZ4D is hosting a public forum on Monday, October 14, at 8 AM PT via Zoom to provide updates on the proposal for the National Science Foundation’s Mid-Scale Research Infrastructure 2 (MSRI-2)* program. The forum will be facilitated by Diana Roman (SZ4D Vice-Chair and Proposal PI, Carnegie Institution) and Jeff Freymueller (Operations Planning Committee for Infrastructure, Michigan State University).

During the event, SZ4D will outline the scope of the proposal, the writing process, and an action plan aimed at solidifying the project’s goals. The forum will also cover the next steps leading to the potential Spring 2025 submission. Participants are encouraged to join the Q&A session to share input and ask questions, fostering a collaborative discussion.

The webinar is open to all interested in learning more about SZ4D’s infrastructure plans. A recording will be made available on the SZ4D YouTube channel, and live translated closed captioning will be provided.
