Current Happenings for SZ4Grads…

SZ4Grads is gearing up for an exciting time at AGU, and we’re looking forward to connecting with many of you there! We’re also preparing a new set of skill-based webinars for this fall/winter, building on the momentum from our successful summer writing group, which we hope to continue in the future. As always, we remain committed to representing early-career researchers within SZ4D and supporting our vibrant community!

What We’ve Been Up To: 

• Summer Writing Group - thank you to everyone who joined us! We hope to continue these in the future to keep fostering our community 

• SZNet Chile & US Exchange Panel Webinar 

• We’ve added two amazing liaisons to our ExComm (Valeria and Constanza) from our Chilean-Argentinian sister early career group, AndesSur 

What’s Coming Up: 

• SZ4Grads will be at AGU!

  • Catch us at the SZ4D mixer event! Join us for a lively networking event! Enjoy an evening filled with activities designed to help you share your science, spark conversations, and connect with your peers. SZ4D will be hosting a poster session during the mixer, open to anyone interested in showcasing their AGU poster or a poster version of their AGU talk. We particularly encourage Early Career Scientists presenting at AGU to participate. This will be a great opportunity to promote your presentation, share your research with peers, and network within the community.

    If you would like to participate, register your poster by December 2.

  • We’re hosting our annual networking luncheon Monday Dec 15 at 12:30
