Earlier this month SZ4Grads kicked off its first virtual writing group, drawing over 20 participants across multiple countries! We created a dedicated space for early career researchers to focus on writing related to subduction zone science while casually connecting with peers they might run into at future conferences. Participants shared feedback, writing goals, and encouragement - building both productivity and community in a relaxed, supportive environment. Looking ahead, we’re creating a collaborative Spotify study playlist that participants can add to and enjoy during future writing sessions.
