I'm currently focused on the study of processes of sediment generation (glacial erosion, mass wasting processes) and the downstream transfer of that material in fluvial basins of central Chile. This is under the concept of Sediment Cascades and how current climate change and extreme precipitation events modulate these processes. I have collected sediment samples and conducted various field campaigns over the years to combine both geomorphological observations and sediment provenance analyses.
