Project Description
Rheological and experiments on lava (we can discuss with the visitor and they can bring samples); thermal property measurements.
Proposed Hosting Period
Summer would be best, but probably any time May through October - no strong preference as my summer plans are not finalized yet.
Facilities/Resources
High temperature furnaces, rheometers, calorimeter and LFA for measuring thermal diffusivity. Petrographic microscopes, sample prep equipment.
