Research Interests
My research interests lie in active tectonics from a geological perspective, with a particular focus on crustal faulting processes. I employ geomorphological approaches and paleoseismological techniques to investigate upper plate deformation. My work integrates field observations with trench logging and geochronological methods to better understand the earthquake cycle and landscape evolution.
As part of our research group, exchange participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on field experience, including training in fault mapping and paleoseismological trench interpretation. We provide a collaborative and dynamic research environment that encourages critical thinking and scientific discussion on upper plate deformation, the earthquake cycle, and landscape evolution.
