Research Interests
The research interests of our team are primarily focused on two main topics: seismic source inversion and b-value estimation. To achieve our results, we employ a range of inversion methods, including parametric and Bayesian transdimensional inversion. These methodologies can be applied globally (as far as a robust dataset is provided).
As a participant in our team, you will gain access to and understanding of various methodologies that will be beneficial for your research goals. This exposure to diverse techniques and research topics will not only enhance your academic knowledge but also contribute to your personal and professional development. The principal researcher has a keen interest in applying transdimensional inversion to seismological problems; however, we are open to exploring alternative methodologies and discussing a range of research topics.
Our team comprises both undergraduate and graduate students, and we hold regular group meetings to support one another with our research challenges. By joining our team, you will also have the opportunity to experience university life in the city and participate in the numerous cultural and scientific activities available at the Universidad de Concepción. These activities not only offer a break from research but also promote a well-rounded academic experience.
If you are interested or have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the principal researcher.

Facilities/Resources
The visiting scientist will have a designated workspace in the office to develop their project, which will include internet access and necessary desk appliances. Additionally, this space will utilize all the facilities available within the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Concepción.
